CANPACK Netherlands B.V. is one of the fast growing companies in the Helmond/Eindhoven region. After 5 successful years of start-up and growth, we are in the phase of consolidation and further professionalization of our business operations.

Within the recently established Continuous Improvement Department there is a vacancy for a Continuous Improvement Specialist, who will actively contribute to the productivity improvement of our operational processes. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will report to the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager.

In this new role your key responsibilities will be to:

• Create the basis for improvement by driving standardization of operational processes (SOP’s, basic machine conditions, standard settings, organized workplace)
• Set our people up for success by providing the necessary operational training 
• Provide the necessary information on the performance of our processes in order to enable decision-making 
• Improve operations performance by building CI capabilities within the organization.

To realize this, you will:

• Support the operation with CI by developing Autonomous Maintenance, 5S and Visual Management in Production and monitoring the reliability and compliance of production data and effectiveness of CI-processes (5S, Problem Solving)
• Perform data-analysis needed for decision-making and to perform RCA
• Improve the effectiveness of Daily Meetings
• Perform Process Confirmations in production
• Keep in touch with your linking pins in other plants and/or HQ in order to stay updated on CI Standards and to share knowledge and Best Practices across CanPack
• Periodically determine the training needs of stakeholders and based on that develop training materials and conduct workplace assessments
• Prioritize, plan and track trainings and results in the Learning Management System, in close co-operation with managers and supervisors
• Provide generic onboarding (classroom) training and CI-related training (A3, 5S, SMED, OEE) to employees and coach workplace trainers in training and assessing their trainees via the Train the Trainer concept
  
  

To be successful, you bring:

• A technical Education on higher vocational (HBO)-Level
• You are communicative, work independently and are creative
• You can connect with, and inspire teams/individuals
• You have basic knowledge of CI-methods
• You have a structured way of working and a positive mindset
• You have strong analytical skills
• Spoken and written Dutch and English is a must
