OPENING FOR MACHINE SPECIALIST - DECORATOR

IN DUBAI, UAE

We are looking for candidates for the position of Machine Specialist – DECORATOR to join our factory in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed , production times, stock specifications, colors and color sequences.
2. Carrying out machines adjustments in accordance with the work instructions procedures
3. Exercising control over the equipment work in accordance with the schedule
4. Performing change over activities
5. Training of new employee(s) assigned to different areas of responsibility
6. Performing tasks within the scope of routine technical repairs and inspections
7. Taking part in assembling new production equipment and production lines including external services to other CANPACK factories
8. Performing machine maintenance (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual)
9. Communicating and reporting comments on technical conditions of machines and related matter concerning production
10. Coordinating to Technical Department to ensure correct and proper regeneration of parts of machine
11. Performing other duties as assigned by direct superiors

Requirements:

1. Technology Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Electronics)
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the same field (Decorator) or printing experience on a different type of machinery with good technical and maintenance background.
3. Knowledge and experience in offset printing technology will be an advantage.
4. Experience working with Stolle Decorator or similar machine will be an advantage.
5. Knowledgeable in handling and using precision tools and measuring equipments, machine operating, reading and interpreting technical drawings
6. Having analytical skills, Interpersonal skills, Tolerance and ability to work in heavy conditions and under pressure, Teamplayer Skills.
7. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills.
8. Demonstrates leadership and organizational skills.
9. Intermediate or above level of English Communication skills.
